A fairytale fantasy comes to life in Massenet’s Cinderella. With enchanting melodies, sparkling orchestrations, and a touch of magical mischief, this heartwarming opera puts a charming spin on the classic tale. When a lost slipper sets destiny in motion, Cinderella’s journey from rags to romance unfolds in the most whimsical, wonder-filled way.

Puccini // MADAMA BUTTERFLY
January 30 and February 1, 2026 | Raleigh Memorial Auditorium

A love story of passion, sacrifice, and heartbreak, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly delivers some of the most exquisite music ever written. The young geisha Cio-Cio-San gives up everything for love, only to face devastating betrayal in a story that unfolds with haunting beauty and emotional depth. With achingly beautiful lyricism and gut-wrenching tragedy, one of opera’s most powerful productions will stay with you long after the final note.

Verdi // IL TROVATORE
April 17 & 19, 2026 | Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.

Swords clash, secrets burn, and voices soar in Verdi’s Il Trovatore. A noblewoman in love, an outcast seeking vengeance, and a fateful secret set the stage for this pulse-pounding thriller filled with unforgettable twists and jaw-dropping drama. Featuring fiery arias and powerful ensembles, including the booming “Anvil Chorus,” this opera is must-see for lovers of high stakes and high notes!

All performances in the 2025-2026 North Carolina Opera season take place in downtown Raleigh at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. 

To renew your subscription online, please log in to your North Carolina Opera Account Manager and navigate to the invoice page to pay for your seats. If you would like to pick new seats, please contact the Box Office directly at 919.792.3853 or by emailing boxoffice@ncopera.org.

You can also renew by phone at 919.792.3853.

Please note, renewals will close on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Log in or create an NC Opera Account Manager account. **Use the same email address and password you use to purchase tickets at Ticketmaster.com for consolidated access.** 

When purchasing a new subscription online, you will be prompted to select your performance day and seats using the interactive seat map. You will have the same performance day (either Friday evening or Sunday matinee) and seats for all three performances.

Subscribers enjoy WAIVED handling fees all season long, plus the same seats for all performances. Prices below are all inclusive (tickets, taxes, and facility fees).  The price you see is the price you pay for one subscription seat to all 3 shows in the 25/26 season.

Audio Description services by Arts Access are provided for all Friday evening performances. 

Your digital tickets will be available in your NC Opera Account Manager in July. If you prefer printed tickets to be mailed directly to you or held for you at will call, please let us know by contacting the Box Office at 919.792.3853 or boxoffice@ncopera.org.

As a subscriber, you are eligible to purchase additional tickets for friends and family using your exclusive subscriber discount. You will also enjoy waived handling fees on these additional tickets. These additional tickets will be available in June after season renewals have closed.

Subscribers get first access to seats, and tickets to individual shows will go on sale in July. Subscribe to our mailing list to get pre-sale access to individual shows before the general public.
